What’s SPECIAL on this StartupWeekend Seoul National University- One-on-One Mentoring Session
Following the Daejeon event in February, the mentoring sessions will offer a more customized one-on-one mentoring for every team on the 2nd day of the event. All the teams will be able to apply the mentoring session once they build their own team on the 1st day.

DAY 1 / Friday
5:00 pm ~ 6:00 pm Doors open, meet and greet. Get your name tags!
6:00 pm ~ 7:00 pm Orientation with light dinner.
7:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Keynote Speech
8:00 pm ~ 9:30 pm Idea pitch time!
Anyone can pitch. This is a self-selection process. People will gather around ideas that they think are interesting and would like to work on for the weekend. So go for it!
Hard limit to 2-minutes each, so get to the point.
State the problem you are trying to solve
How you plan to solve it
What/who you need over the weekend.
9:30 pm ~ 11:00 pm Select ideas to build and build teams.
Meet and talk each other who are interested in the same idea. Form teams around the selected ideas based on interest and skill sets required to build the ideas. Teams solidify their concept. By Saturday morning, team selection should be completed.
DAY 2 / Saturday
9:00 am ~ Start working! Developing!
(Breakfast at 9am, Lunch at 12pm, Dinner at 6pm)
Act, Build, Create, and Develop your product!
Making prototype is very crucial to show how your idea works!
10:00 am ~ 11:30 am Mentoring session I

1:30 pm ~ 3:00 pm Mentoring session II
One-on-One time mentoring program- 30 minutes mentoring for each teams
3:00 pm ~ 6:00 pm Developing!
6:00 pm ~ 7:00 pm Dinner
7:00 pm ~ Developing!
Day 3 Final / Sunday
9:00 am ~ 1:00 pm Development! (Breakfast at 9am, Lunch at 12pm)
Release your product, prototype or whatever! Don’t forget – Your FINAL Presentation is as important as your idea, prototype! Intro, Problem, Solution, and Requirement (conclusion), these four elements are what you need for a good elevator pitch.
1:00 pm ~ 2:00 pm Presentation preparation
2:00 pm ~ 5:00 pm Final Presentation!
Pitch your best presentation before a panel of judges. 5-minutes maximum. More or less time will be given depending on how many teams need to present. Most importantly, demo your product.
5:00 pm ~ 5:30 pm Judge time! Closing of Final Day.
Top teams will be prized, however the most important takeaway will be an experience of building a team around an idea, working together and delivering a product in a short period of time. You will earn much more than just a prize. The human network you create during the weekend will last forever. One or more of people at the Startup Weekend could be your future co-founder(s), life-time-long buddys.
